Reservation of group appointments for National D visa for employment purposes for jobs with no/low/higher qualifications will occur in 2024 through the outsourcing company BLS. Appointments could be booked only by the Slovak companies. Instructions on how to book a group appointment are published in the Slovak language on the Slovak version of this website.

National D visa for employment purposes for no/low and higher qualification jobs
The Embassy of the Slovak Republic in New Delhi announces that appointment reservations for citizens of the mentioned countries for National D visas for employment purposes for jobs with no, low, or higher qualifications will be online only in 2024.
The online system reservation for National D visa for employment purposes for jobs with no/low and higher qualifications for February 2024 will be opened on 1 December 2023 at 11.00 hours (CET).
The online system reservation for National D visa for employment purposes for jobs with no/low and higher qualifications for March 2024 will be opened on 2 January 2023 at 11.00 hours (CET).
The following appointments will be opened every first work day in the month at 11.00 CET. If the system does not show appointments, no more appointments are available, and slots are fully booked. Email requests for additional slots will not be accepted and will be deleted.
The applicant should fill out the application correctly – after the appointment request, there will be no possibility to change the applicant's name, passport or other essential data in the application.
In case these appointments are booked by citizens of India, appointments will be deleted, and the applicant will be notified by automatic email.
Other types of National D visa applications - Citizens of India, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Maldives, Nepal and Sri Lanka
Appointments for submitting applications are allocated on a priority basis by valid regulations of the Government of the Slovak Republic on the interests of the Slovak Republic.
Appointments for all other purposes of the National D visa will remain by email only at cons.delhi@mzv.sk. Reservation for National D visa for all other purposes for February 2024 will be opened on 1 December 2023. Following appointments for the following month will be opened every first work day.
Each email must contain the following information about the applicant –
- name, surname, date of birth
- passport number
- and must request the application category with the attached scanned copy of the primary document, which confirms the purpose of the stay in Slovakia, e.g. marriage certificate, scholarship letter, acceptance letter, work promise for the highly qualified employee, etc.
Emails without requested data and scanned copies of the primary document will not be accepted or deleted automatically.
Due to capacity reasons, only the document confirming the purpose of stay in Slovakia is scanned. Additional documents are not checked.
Important notice: Applicants need to submit original documents for the application for temporary residence, which are offered within the application for a National D visa. Documents for a temporary residence permit must be valid (not older than 90 days) upon applying for temporary residence in the Slovak Republic.
Appointments for applications for temporary and permanent residence
Appointments applications for permanent and temporary residence for employment of highly qualified employees, ICT, business, family reunion, particular activity, etc., for February 2024 can be requested from 1 December 2023 by email at cons.delhi@mzv.sk. Each email request must contain the following information about the applicant – name, surname, and passport number and must request the category of the application with the attached scanned copy of the primary document, which confirms the purpose of the stay in Slovakia (e.g. marriage certificate, job offer etc.) or written future employer company name with the name of the positions and numeric code of the position. Applications without the requested information will not be accepted or automatically deleted.
Appointments for permanent residence and temporary residence permit for March 2024 can be requested starting 2 January 2024.
Requests by the Slovak relocation, personal employment agencies and all authorised persons and companies for appointments for temporary residence for more than one applicant (together with their family) will not be accepted.
The embassy of the Slovak Republic in New Delhi requests that agencies not send lists of applicants who do not belong to one family unit.
If the slots for the whole month are fully booked, new applications will not be accepted, and emails will be deleted after informing the applicants. For capacity reasons, the Embassy will not accept any requests for exchanging applicants for appointments.
Applicants for a National D visa with an already granted residence permit apply in person at the Embassy Monday to Thursday between 14.00 and 15.00 hours. The decision from the Foreign Police in the Slovak Republic must be submitted, or a copy of the text message. There is no need to fix the appointment for this application.
List of the supporting documents and further instructions for this type of application
Application for superlegalisation of the documents will be in 2023, accepted only on Mondays and Tuesdays (except for Slovak National Holidays or Indian Bank Holidays) between 14.00 and 15.00 hours. One authorised person can submit a maximum of five applications at once. Kindly note that superlegalization is not done on the same day.
