As for the top destinations, the first ten months saw the highest number of arrivals in Dubrovnik, Zagreb, Split, Rovinj, Poreč, and Zadar. Regarding source markets, during the same period, the most arrivals came from the German market, Croatia, Slovenia, Austria and Poland, with 3.3 million arrivals, 2.5 million, 1.6 million, 1.6 million, and 1.1 million, respectively.

Based on eVisitor system figures, in October 2023, Croatia welcomed a total of 1.1 million arrivals and 3.6 million overnight stays, representing a 13 per cent increase in arrivals compared to the previous year and an 11 per cent increase in overnight stays.
During the same month, the Adriatic counties registered 844,000 arrivals (a 12 per cent increase compared to 2022) and 3.2 million overnight stays, while Zagreb saw 119,000 arrivals (an 18 per cent increase) and 226,000 overnight stays (a six per cent increase). In the remaining continental areas, there were 102,000 arrivals (a 14 per cent increase) and 195,000 overnight stays (an eight per cent increase).
Moreover, the breakdown of arrivals in October reveals that domestic guests made up the largest group with 214,000 arrivals, followed by guests from Germany with 153,000 arrivals, Slovenia with 80,000 arrivals, Austria with 78,000 arrivals, and the United States with 63,000 arrivals.
