According to the source, both Portugal and Spain are strong advocates for simplifying visa rules or granting temporary visa-free entry for Moroccan nationals. While neither country has officially commented, they believe such measures would boost tourism and ensure higher fan attendance, contributing significantly to the tournament’s success.
However, before any visa exemption agreement can be finalized, Morocco must meet specific EU conditions, and the proposal must gain broad support from EU member states. The EU has not yet officially confirmed if this initiative is under active consideration.
