Know Your Visa Type
Before applying for Polish visa, applicants should decide the visa subclass under which they wish to lodge their visa application.
Please make sure you familiarize yourself with the information on the visa subclass you are applying for.

A Schengen visa (C Visa) allows you to travel to the following countries:

Please apply for your visa at the Consulate or Embassy of the country of your main destination. If there is no main destination, the application must be submitted to the Embassy or Consulate General of the country where you will be staying for the longest period of time.
If no longest stay can be ascertained then you may apply at the country of the first port of entry.
National Visa
If you intend to spend more than 90 days (at least 91 days) on Polish territory (either continuously or in intervals) in the half-a-year period since the date of first arrival, you must apply for the country visa D. The country visa (D) permits for: being in Polish territory for the duration of your stay and/or for the duration period the visa was issued for; as well as being able to travel in the other Schengen countries for up to three months during the specified half-a-year period.

Once you know the visa type you need to apply for, please read all relevant information to that category which includes its Visa Fees, Service Charges, Documents Required, Photo Specifications and Processing Time along with the Visa Application Form within that category.
Applicants should read all instructions carefully and then fill in the Visa Application Form. Applicants can also get the visa application form by visiting the nearest Visa Application Centre of the Republic of Poland or by downloading the forms (Schengen Visa Application Form or National Visa Application Form) from the website “Download Form”.
Once all requirements corresponding to the visa subclass under which they wish to lodge their application are fulfilled, you are ready to apply for your visa applications.
Jurisdiction To Apply
New Delhi
Applicants should submit their applications to the relevant Visa Application Centre according to their place of residence. Jurisdiction of the Consular Section of the Embassy of Poland in New Delhi covers the Visa Application Centers (VACs) in:
- New Delhi,
- Kolkata,
- Chandigarh,
- Jaipur,
- Bhopal.
Above-mentioned VACs accept visa application forms from:
- India (Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Delhi (NCR), Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu-Kashmir, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Odisha, Punjab, Rajasthan, Sikkim, Tripura, Uttaranchal, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal),
- Afghanistan,
- Bangladesh,
- Bhutan,
- Maldives
- Nepal,
- Sri Lanka.
Please note: As per the instructions received from The Embassy of the Republic of Poland from 03 February 2020 all the applicants from Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, Bhutan and Maldives can only apply for their visa applications (National Visa) from New Delhi vfs center.
Mumbai:
Jurisdiction of the Consulate General of the Republic of Poland in Mumbai covers the VACs in:
- Mumbai,
- Ahmedabad,
- Bangalore,
- Chennai,
- Hyderabad.
Above-mentioned VACs accept visa application forms from India (Andhra Pradesh, Daman and Diu, Dadra and Nagar Haveli, Goa, Gujarat, Karnataka, Kerala, Maharashtra, Pondicherry, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Andaman and Nicobar Islands).
Step 1
Prepare your application and supporting documents:
Go to “Schengen Visa” or “National Visa” link on this website to understand details of different visa types. There you can find information on the photo specifications, documents required, processing times and more.
Step 2
Book an appointment to visit the Visa Application Centre:
To visit the Visa Application center you should schedule the appointment. You can book the appointment online or by calling our Helpline.
Please read the security regulation notice before visiting the Centre.
Step 3
Submit your visa application:
Visit the Visa Application Centre and submit your completed Schengen Visa Application Form or National Visa Application Form along with required supporting documents. Please see the Contact Us page for the location of the centre. In order to avoid a second trip to the Visa Application center after your application has been processed, you may opt for a commercial courier delivery service of your passport for an additional fee.
Please ensure that you furnish the required document, you may download document checklist from this website. Incomplete applications may not be accepted.
Please note: in exceptional cases the consul has the right to request the provision of other documents as well or invite you for an interview at the Consulate.
Step 4
Pay application fee:
Visa fee is paid at the submission counter in cash in Indian rupees. Receipt will be provided for all payments made at the center.
Step 5
Collect your ready passport:
Track the progress of your application and come accordingly to pick up your passport. If you have opted for a commercial courier delivery service your passport will be delivered to your chosen address.
Applicants are requested to collect their passports from the Visa Application Centre within 30 days. If passports are not collected within this period, they will be handed over to the Embassy. Passports which are handed over to courier for delivery will be called off and returned back to the Embassy if delivery fails for more than 30 days. In both cases, applicants will have to collect their passport directly from the Embassy.
Please pay attention that in accordance with Art. 21 (8) of the Visa Code, during the examination of the visa application form, the consul in exceptional cases has the right to invite the applicant for an interview and also ask him for additional documents. The provision of additional documents does not guarantee a visa.

After Submisson
After you have successfully submitted your application at one of the Visa Application Centres, you may like to check the status of your application on the website personally.
The second option is to dial our call-centre number. Please, be prepared to tell your receipt number and date of birth.
Having made sure that your passport is received by the Visa Application Centre, you can collect it in person or order a courier delivery to the selected address. The processed passport will not be handed over to any of the travel agent / representative.
