Once you have downloaded your visa application form, complete it, print the completed form, and bring it with you to the Visa Application Centre for submission.

Once you’ve booked your appointment, you’ll receive an appointment confirmation via email along with the letter of appointment.
If you are part of a family , you’ll have to book individual appointments for each member of the family.
The appointments which are already booked can only be rescheduled within 24 hours from the date of booking an appointment.

For Nepal: All applicants applying from Nepal will have to come as Walk In on Monday & Tuesday only, no prior appointments booking will be applicable. Applicants will be accepted on first come first serve basis only. VFS Kathmandu will accept maximum 10 applications a week, 5 applications on Mondays & 5 applications on Tuesdays. Out of these 10 applications, maximum one can be accepted for the purpose of work (employment or seasonal work).
For Bangladesh:
Changes Adopted in Regards to the Revised Schengen Visa Code (Acceptance of Visa Applications at the Embassy)
The Embassy of the Czech Republic in New Delhi announces that following changes are to be adopted in the connection with the revised Schengen Visa Code coming into force on Febrary 2, 2020:
From this date on, no standard short-term Schengen visa applications are going to be accepted at the Embassy as the applicants shall submit their visa applications at the visa application centres operated by the VFS Global company.
The current e-mail appointment system for visa applicants legally residing in Bangladesh and Nepal (shortterm_bgd.npl@mzv.cz) is therefore not going to be used anymore.
The applicants legally residing in Nepal shall turn themselves to the visa application centre in Kathmandu in order to schedule an appointmnt for submitting their short-term Schengen visa applications. The applicants legally residing in Bangladesh are from February 2, 2020, entitled to lodge their short-term Schengen visa applications at the visa application centre in New Delhi and they can do so every Monday between 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. local Indian time and until the capacity is reached (3 applications per week, out of these 1 with the purpose of short employment). The legal residents of Bangladesh can also contact the French embassy in Dhaka for submitting their short-term Schengen (Czech) visa application.

You’ll have to submit your complete visa application form at the Visa Application Centre in person.

Please note it may take more than the prescribed time mentioned on your Appointment letter while submitting your Application at VFS Centre. Applicants will be issued with a token number at the Application Centre and will be entertained as per the token number assigned. It may take more time depending on the number of Applications submitted at the counter by an Individual.
Track your application
Stay informed about the progress of your application
You will receive an email update when your decision has been returned to the Visa Application Centre. If you can’t access email easily, or would like more detailed tracking information, you may also be able to get updates by SMS sent directly to your phone. Check whether this service is available at the Visa Application Centre you are visiting.
You can also track your visa application status online. Use the Reference Number present on the invoice/receipt issued by the Visa Application Centre along with your last name to access this service.
Collect your passport
Receive your passport from the Visa Application Centre
After a visa application decision has been made, you can pick up your documents from the Visa Application Centre or have your documents returned to you by courier for an additional fee. For some Visa Application Centres your documents will only be returned via courier.
Collecting your documents in person: bring the receipt issued by the Visa Application Centre and a form of Government identification. If permitted you may be able to send a representative to collect your documents; they will need to present a letter of authorisation signed by you, bring the receipt issued to you by the Visa Application Centre and their Government identification.
Please check with the Visa Application Centre at time of your appointment for the options available to collect your documents.

Hold at Location
This service will enable the applicant to hold their courier or passport collection from a different city in India at the New Delhi Visa Application Centre. Price: INR 500 per application
Prime Time Collection :
Prime time collection allows applicant to collect their passport from center at convenient time, on Saturday, at an additional cost.
Timings for Prime time Collection: 09:00 – 16:00 (For Delhi Only)
Prime time collection Charges: 500 INR
As per the instructions from the Embassy third party collection of passport or documents is not permitted, except in the following scenarios:
• Immediate Family Member only (i.e. parents, siblings, children) – Relationship proof needs to be furnished at the time of collection.
• One member of the group collecting for the entire group.
• A person collecting on behalf of Govt. officials, only if the authorization letter is on the Govt. letter head.
• Company representative - should present the Authorization letter on the Company letter head and carry the official ID card (If permitted by the Embassy of Czech Republic ).
If you wish to receive the passport at your office, then the same needs to be mentioned in the covering letter and the office address needs to be mentioned in the courier request form.
