Temporary residence
A temporary residence permit is granted for a period that is necessary for the fulfilment of the purpose of stay in Poland (e.g., working or studying) but, in most cases, not shorter than 3 months and not longer than 3 years.
A foreigner has to submit an application for a temporary residence permit personally to the Lower Silesian Governor not later than on the last day of his/her legal stay in Poland.
